Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 March 2026
1. About NoLapse
NoLapse is a compliance tracking platform that helps private healthcare employers monitor the registration expiry dates of their clinical staff. The service is operated by Paul Church ("we", "us", "our"), based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account and using the platform, you agree to these terms.
2. Important limitation of service
NoLapse does not perform live checks against the HCPC register or any other professional regulatory body. Registration status displayed in the platform is based on the expiry dates you enter manually. It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of the data you input and to conduct your own checks against the relevant register before deploying any practitioner.
NoLapse is a scheduling and alerting tool. It is not a substitute for direct verification with the HCPC, NMC, GMC, GDC, GPhC, or any other regulator. We make no warranty that the data displayed reflects the current regulatory status of any individual.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately at hello@nolapse.co.uk if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Subscriptions and billing
NoLapse is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly cycle. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal in your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice by email. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable regulation.
- Enter false, fabricated, or misleading practitioner data.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract data from the platform.
- Share your account credentials with individuals outside your organisation.
- Use the platform to process data for any organisation other than the one you represent.
6. Data and privacy
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, NoLapse and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to: regulatory action, insurance claims, employment disputes, or patient harm arising from any reliance on data displayed by the platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
